Evaluation of Business Performance Through Financial Analysis Tools

The Master thesis "Evaluation of the performance of the company using financial analysis tools" is focused on the evaluation of the financial efficiency of the selected enterprise based on classical and modern methods of financial analysis. The theoretical part is devoted to the issue of performance evaluation of a company from a theory point of view. The individual methods, including the ways of their calculations, are described. The theory from the first part follows the second part, where the selected indicators are applied to real company. The practical part includes a detailed analysis of selected indicators of financial analysis. Based on the results of individual indicators of classical and modern methods of financial analysis, recommendations are proposed to improve corporate performance.

This bachelor thesis is engaged in the total evaluation of steel company Třinecké železárny a.s. during the period of 2013-2017. The goal of this bachelor thesis is to propose suitable arrangements aimed to increase the profitability of Třinecké železárny a.s. with a proper focus on the company's business strategy under the assumption of increasing sales, which have a major impact on the profitability. The first part of the thesis is focused on a literary overview of theoretical bases and methods, followed by a practical passage. The obtained results comprise an overall picture of the financial condition of the company, on the basis of which are proposed recommendations for enhancement and amelioration of the current situation.

The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to analyse financial health and stability of PETROF, spol. s r.o., by using methods of financial analysis. This company is well known manufacturer of pianos not only in the Czech Republic, but all across the Europe. As a data source were used data officially published by the company from years 2009 to 2013. The tools chosen for this bachelor's thesis are explained in the theoretical part, then, in the practical part, they are applied to analysed company with enclosed commentaries and some of them are measured against competitors.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the financial health of company Ferring-Léčiva, a.s. within years 2009-2013 from an external analyst point of view using publicly available materials. Bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. First part, the theoretical part, includes the methodological apparatus and procedures of financial analysis. In the introduction of practical part of this bachelor thesis is a short presentation of researched company followed by applied and evaluated procedures of financial analysis, that were described in the theoretical part. The conclusion of this bachelor thesis contains summary of practical part and the assumption of company's future development considering it's analyzed financial health.

Financial health of the company

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to predict the future of the company Eta a.s., which produces electronic devices. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part, to which a practical part relates. The instruments are described in the theoretical part and applied on the company afterward. Methods, which I used, are ex post and ex ante analysis. Through them it is possible to find out, what kind of trend was in the past and what prediction could be expected in the future. In the financial analysis I will figure out horizontal and vertical analysis, proportional and differential indicators, Du Pont's decomposition and economic value added. There will be used bankruptcy and creditworthy models to predict the future. In the theoretical part, computations and recommended values of ex post and also ex ante analysis will be described. Company will be introduced in the practical part and described computations will be applied. The financial situation of the company will be compared with competitive companies.

Financial analysis based on accounting statements

The main goal of this financial analysis of the RUPA, ltd is to assess financial situation and success of the company management during the five-year period. The first part examines horizontal and vertical analysis of accounting statements, ratio indicators and index fluctuations. At the end of this part I shall present the DuPont model. Moreover, this analysis includes comparison of the firm with indexes in the food sector, so I can reveal trends, which have influenced the company. Second part of this work will be devoted to use a few creditworthy and bankruptcy models. To conclude, I shall designate the basic problems and try to give solutions to how they can be overcomed.

This work is an analysis of a company in the chemical industry. Indicators and methods according which the company is going to be evaluated are the horizontal and vertical analysis, rules for financing, ratio indicators of profitability, liquidity, activity, indebtedness, market value, Du Ponts pyramidal decomposition, analysis of the net working capital, indicator of the economic value added -- EVA, summary indexes of the company evaluation and comparation with the average value in the industry. The theoretical part is targeted on the explanation of these rules and indicators. In the application part are the results, which are commented and explained in relation to the generally accepted knowledge.

This bachelor thesis contains massed information from accessible literature concerning problematics of financial analysis. The objective of my work is to accomplish the financial analysis of a company MANN +HUMMEL (CZ), Ltd., which is located in Nová Ves in the Highlands. I analysed a period from 2004 to 2008. On the basis of this analysis I will evaluate the financial situation of the company. The work is accompanied by tables and neat prahp illustrations.
